Google has publicly posted two Technical Writing courses that can refresh and help improve the skills of aspiring technical writers — for free.

Although geared toward developers and software engineers, the first course, Technical Writing One, discusses basic language and presentation principles with examples of common applications which could be useful to almost anyone.

Technical Writing Two outlines higher-level components that should be considered for the final product such as editing, organization and illustration.

Each course can be completed in less than a day. We highly recommended them.
